YU yesterday finally remove her drip which is good. So she was able to sit up, and play her NEW! tamagotchi. =P She was back to her self. Joking. Getting angry with us. =) And she smile quite alot yest comparably to the day before yest. =)
And the good news is she should be discharged either tOday or tOmOrrOw... =)))) Have lots of activities plan to make up for her long hospital stay.
I don't like it when people ask me, "why yu will get diabetes?", "what happen, why so sudden?".. Simply cos i have no ans for them. I hate it more when they said its cos of the sugar level(the amt of coke she drank) or that its hereiditary. I bet yu is asking herself that same Question as to , why her?
So i went to the net, & just as i expected, here's what they say...
In Type 1 diabetes the cells in the pancreas that make insulin are destroyed, causing a severe lack of insulin. This is thought to be the result of the body attacking and destroying its own cells in the pancreas - known as an autoimmune reaction.
It's not clear why this happens, but a number of explanations and possible triggers of this reaction have been proposed. These include:
infection with a specific virus or bacteria;
exposure to food-borne chemical toxins; and
exposure as a very young infant to cow's milk, where an as yet unidentified component of this triggers the autoimmune reaction in the body.
However, these are only hypotheses and are by no means proven causes.Its really not by choice.
